2015 Rookie Of The Year Update- Best Of The Low Money Teams

The Underfunded teams have had a very good representation in this seasons Rookie Of The Year Contests below i will highlight the top 3 (Active) drivers and their performances in races starting at New Hampshire.

  1. Brett Moffitt
Brett Moffitt has had a very successful year so far. After landing a ride in the number 34 for Front Row Motorsports after David Ragan left for a Full Time Ride at Michael Waltrip Racing where Brett Moffitt made his debut in at Atlanta after Brian Vickers had to leave the car after blood clots returned to his body. Brett has been very impressive this season and I think he would be a very deserving Rookie Of The Year!

     2. Matt DiBenedetto
Matt DiBendetto has been impressive this season in the case where even the safety truck is trying to wreck him to get an edge (That was absolutely accidental and ruined his day). Matt has been very good this season hint why he's 2nd in the Rookie of The Year so far this season. Matt who was employed by BK Racing to drive the number 83 shortly after The Daytona 500 where Johnny Sauter placed it in the 19th possition. I expect Matt to be a contender for Rookie Of The Year.

   3. Jeb Burton

Jeb Burton, son of 2002 Daytona 500 champion, has really shown he belongs in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series over the past year. After being released from Turner Scott Motorsports, Jeb was left without a ride period. In 2015 BK Racing hired Jeb Burton to drive the 26 car full time. The only issue is that owners points werent there to lock him in the Daytona 500 and Jeb missed his debut race. That itself has hurt the 26 team in the Rookie of the Year points because that same thing has happened numerous times in the 2015 season.

The 2015 Season is looking very good for rookies and 2016 is shaping up to be another great season for rookies also with Chase Elliot and maybe Ty Dillon and the possibility of Ryan Blaney and Wood Brothers running a full season joining the likes of Kasey Kahne, Joey Logano and Champions Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, and Jimmie Johnson.
