Food City To Take Over BI-LO Stores

Food City Supermarkets announced Thursday in Chattanooga,TN that they would be acquiring BILO

Supermarkets. 29 stores across the Tennessee valley and parts of Georgia will be turned into Food City's. Residents took notice on Facebook, some positive and some negative. Food City has sponsored the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race and the NASCAR Xfinity Series in Bristol since 1992. It's been apart of my life since 2006 when I attended my first Food City Sponsored race, I have since been to 9 Food City sponsored races at Bristol Motor Speedway. I really want to welcome Food City to my Hometown and really appreciate their commitment to Bristol Motor Speedway and I will be happy to show my support right in my backyard! (Koelle, 2015)
