Leavine Family Racing Returns Home

On Wednesday, Leavine Family Racing returned to their race shop near the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord North Carolina. Leavine, who have been using Team Penske facility to construct race cars and other necessities needed to race on a week to week basis after a fire raged through part of their race shop, missed Daytona and Kentucky due to lack of attempts and rain that attempted to dampened their spirits but failed. McDowell, who before Atlanta last season, had not had DNQ until Talladega earlier this season when that changed. Leavine Family Racing may have had issues this season but with willing sponsors of K-Love Radio who has been with Michael through thick and thin of a majority of his NASCAR career and Thrivent Finnancial Services who joined LFR last season after Bristol and The love and caring of driver Michael McDowell who has an extreme interest to race car help make this team show up every weekend. Through the fire McDowell and LFR picked up a new associate sponsor for the #95 Ford Fusion. Monitronics a security company joined LFR to be an associate sponsor on the #95 at a couple races in 2015.
