Notable Changes to the Schedule
- Off Weekend after Daytona 500 to let Champion tour the World/US
- Martinsville moves to March, Add a little short track racing to the start
- Charlotte moves to April
- Charlotte, Texas, and Richmond all under the lights
- Atlanta ran under the lights in May, Replaces Kansas
- Bristol hosts All Star Race for 1 year than moves to another track. All tracks must have hosted before a track hosts again,
- Bristol moves in Charlotte's space having a 600 Lap Race. Just imagine all of the drivers in a car for 100 more laps than normal tensions might flare
- Iowa gains a cup race along with Mid-Ohio
- Off Weekend after Pocono
- Chicagoland goes back under the lights
- Watkins Glen, Bristol, Las Vegas and Atlanta gain Chase Races
- Texas becomes last chance race. Best finisher of the 16 qualify for the final 5 in Homestead
