On Friday NASCAR held qualifying for Sundays' Five Hour Energy 301 in New Hampshire. Carl Edwards won the pole position for Sundays race but that wasn't what was stealing headlines. Landon Cassill ,who drives the #40 Chevrolet SS for Hillman-Smith Racing, qualified in an amazing 13th! By far one of his best qualifying sessions this season! Ryan Blaney had a fast lap in the first segment locking him in the show for the first time in 2 weeks having missed Daytona and Kentucky due to rain you can say Wood Brothers Racing were happy with their performance in qualifying and hope to back up past races he's been in so far in 2015. Ryan would end the day 16th in the famed #21 Ford Fusion with new sponsor SKF jumping on board for this weekend. New Hampshire is shaping up to be good to the underfunded teams and many teams can try and take momentum into next weekends famed Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis.
